Dr Chu is the Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at Nepean Hospital. He also has appointments at Nepean Private Hospital and Hawkesbury Hospital.
Dr Chu was educated at North Sydney Boys High School. He studied medicine at Sydney University and completed his internship at Westmead Hospital. He received further medical training in Sydney and London. In Hong Kong he was a lecturer with the medical faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He gained the MRCP(UK) before returning to Sydney and completed fellowship training with the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Chu’s clinical interests are stroke and neurological rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation and spasticity management including botulinum toxin injection.
