Facilities

We have our visitors lounge situated around the hospital for relaxation and comfort. All rooms are furnished with arm chairs, T.V.’s and reading information. Two of our rooms have direct access to the outside court yard for your enjoyment.

The hospital doesn’t have a public café on site. There is a convenience shop located 30 meter across the road for the hospital.

Tea/ coffee, cold drinks and sandwiches are available to accommodate our visitors at reception and there is also a 24hr convenience shop located 30m across the road from the hospital. Vending machines are also located in the front foyer.

General

The staff understands family needs in relation to obtaining frequent updates on your loved ones condition. Such enquires are always welcome.

The number and frequency of visitors is dependent upon each patient’s physical and emotional condition and is therefore at the discretion of the patients carers.

In order that staff can devote the majority of their time to care giving, it would be appreciated if you could organise a spokesperson for your family for your family to make enquires and relay information. Nominating a spokesperson is also recommended if the patient is an esteemed member of a club, association or charity.

Visiting Hours

Midday to 8pm,  everyday.

Unlimited visiting time for parents.

Rehab Unit

4pm – 8pm   Monday to Friday

8am – 8pm   Saturday to Sunday

Parking

We offer convenient, onsite parking to all entrances of the hospital. For ease of access, ramps are provided.

Disable parking is available.

Public Transport

Our hospital is 1.7km from Mt Druitt railway station. Bus routes 739 and 737 travel from the station to our door stop.

Smoke Free Hospital

Smoking on the premises and hospital grounds will not be permitted.
