Delmar Private Hospitals Rehabilitation Unit offers programs aimed at "maximising wellness" for all patients requiring rehabilitation. These programs cater for both in-patients and those requiring day-only programs.
The Unit has private rooms and ensuites available. There is a communal dining room, lounge area and courtyards in which to relax, not to mention the spectacular view up the northern coastline.

Assessment
Once you have been assessed by our rehabilitation specialist and therapists, an individual program is designed to suite your needs.
Day Rehabilitation
Day-only Rehabilitation is an out-patient programme run by a team of physiotherapists, as an extension to in-patient treatment. it consists of hydrotherapy and gentle exercise in the gym. The programme will be individually prescribed and progressed as improvements are made.
Healthy Life Programme
Healthy Life Programme is an exercise programme, combined with group learning sessions aimed to improve your health and facilitate rehabilitation once you have left hospital. Sessions are run by an Occupational Therapist and a Physiotherapist.

- Falls Prevention
Progress Reports
Weekly team meetings are part of the program. It is at these meetings that progress reports and future goals are discussed with you.
Family Involvement
Your family and carers are invited to attend a family conference to ensure an easy return to a home environment.
Continuing Care
Your local General Practitioner or Specialist is invited to continue playing a part in your care during the time you are in hospital in conjunction with our Rehabilitation Consultant.
