Facilities

We have visitors lounges situated around the hospital for relaxation and comfort. All rooms are furnished with arm chairs, T.V.’s and reading information. Two of our lounge areas have direct access to the outside court yard for your enjoyment.

There is a convenience shop located 30 metres across the road from the hospital.

Cold drinks and sandwiches are available for purchase at reception to accommodate our visitors. Vending machines are also located in the front foyer.

General

The staff understands family needs in relation to obtaining frequent updates on your loved ones condition. Such enquiries are always welcome.

The number and frequency of visitors is dependent upon each patient’s physical and emotional condition and is therefore at the discretion of the patients carers.

In order that staff can devote the majority of their time to care giving, it would be appreciated if you could organise a spokesperson for your family to make enquiries and relay information. Nominating a spokesperson is also recommended if the patient is an esteemed member of a club, association or charity.

Visiting Hours

Surgical Ward

10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 8pm everyday.

Unlimited visiting time for parents.

Rehab Unit

4pm – 8pm   Monday to Friday

Midday – 8pm   Saturday

10am - 8pm   Sunday

Parking

We offer convenient, free onsite parking to all entrances of the hospital. For ease of access, ramps are provided.

Disabled parking is available.

Public Transport

Our hospital is 1.7km from Mt Druitt railway station. Bus routes 739 and 737 travel from the station to our front door.

Smoke Free Hospital

Smoking on the premises and hospital grounds will not be permitted.
